DESCRIPTION:
WW - Hamilton "Rectangle," manual wind, 28mm x 39mm to lug tips, 16mm lug width, original 18K white gold hinged back case with hand engraved details on bezel and case edge, black leather strap, original silvered dial with radium painted numerals, 17J cal 987, s#2258625, triple signed. An exceedingly rare watch as roughly 250 of these were made from 1927-1929. With most being lost to scrap or wear, this is possibly one of the best surviving examples. CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide to crown and ratchet wheel; excellent dial with light radium burns; excellent radium hands; unpolished case shows hardly any wear, incredibly sharp engraved detail, no dents or dings; crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
